Amazon has reached an agreement to acquire Goodreads, the go-to site for tracking what you've read and getting recommendations based on what you like.It's a deal that makes lots of sense for both companies. As author Hugh Howey put it, "The best place to discuss books is joining up with the best place to buy books ? To Be Read piles everywhere must be groaning in anticipation."
The acquisition is expected to be finalized in the second quarter of this year and the deal's terms and details were not disclosed.
