Oblon Spivak Partner Roberta Bren Selected as a Finalist for the ...

Bren has been selected as a finalist for the Legal Media Group?s Americas Women in Business Law Awards in the Best in Copyright category. These awards were created to recognize law firms and professional services firms for their efforts in helping women advance in the legal profession. Winners and finalists will be honored at an awards ceremony scheduled for May 24 at Essex House in New York.

Ms. Bren, a former Examining Attorney at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), was the first woman to be named partner at Oblon Spivak. She co-chairs the Copyright practice group and practices in the firm's Trademark and Litigation practice groups. She represents large multinationals to small companies, considering not only legal principles, but also her clients' business realities and marketing objectives to provide them with cost-effective, practical advice.
