The communications coordinator is responsible for creating and editing content for ACMA communication platforms, including Composites Manufacturing magazine, our bi-monthly flagship, print magazine and its accompanying blog; Industry Digest, our weekly e-newsletter; CM Interviews, our bi-weekly Q&A e-newsletter. Also acts as point of contact for fulfillment house, handling subscription and fulfillment issues for the magazine. Additionally responsible for working with the communications team to further social media interaction and online readership.?Write articles/content for use across all platforms as assigned ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS ?Develop and maintain industry contacts ?Edit articles to assure grammatical accuracy and consistency with publication?s non-promotional policy ?Aid in subscription management to assure accuracy and to grow the number of subscriptions ?Remain up-to-date on publishing technology and trends ?Travel to appropriate trade shows, conventions and events to represent the organization as assigned ?Maintain Photo Library

Bachelors degree in English, Journalism or media-related field required Familiarity with publication production process Read and synthesize technical writing Edit the writing of others so that it is appealing to the average magazine reader Knowledge of Associated Press style Experience in basic Photoshop a plus Knowledge of Avectra's Net Forum?database preferred Work in a team environment, as well as work independently and take ownership of projects/tasks Manage multiple projects at one time ?
